My Teaching Ethos
My teaching/coaching practice is formed around a student-centred approach, where we collaborate to decide on your goals and work together to meet them.
My aim as a teacher and coach is to help you explore, strengthen and appreciate your artistic voice, not to make you sound a certain way or perform in a certain way.
I aim to provide as inclusive and accessible a teaching space as possible. This includes global majority, LGBTQIA+ and disability inclusion. Any inclusion or access needs can be discussed during the booking process.
With all my terms and conditions, extenuating circumstances may be taken into account at my discretion.
Booking Sessions
Session inquiries can be made through the contact form on the Coaching page of my website.
If you have specific access needs, please note them in the “Any Other Info” section of the form.
I aim to respond to contact form inquiries via email within 5 working days.
Sessions can be booked on a pay-as-you-go basis or in packages of 5 or 10.
For package bookings, individual session dates must be scheduled a week or more in advance.
Students in further or higher education and members of Equity, the Musician’s Union or Spotlight are eligible for a 10% discount on their purchase; proof of membership or student status must be provided before the booking is finalised.
Once a date and time for your first session has been agreed and booked in, you’ll receive a confirmation email with an invoice attached.
Sessions must be paid for in advance either by bank transfer or in cash.
Payments made in person on the day of a session must be made at the start of the lesson; if you fail to pay at the beginning of the session, it will not going ahead.
Rescheduling
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least two days notice, and up to three times with no charge.
If I need to reschedule a session, as much notice will be given as possible.
Cancelations
Sessions not attended, not paid for in advance or cancelled by the student with 24 hours notice or less cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
Sessions cancelled by the student with between 25 hours and 48 hours notice cannot be refunded but may be rescheduled.
Sessions cancelled by the student with more that 48 hours notice may be rescheduled or refunded.
Refunds
Refunds must be requested in writing; refund requests for cancelations with 48hrs notice or less, sessions not attended, or sessions delivered will not be honoured.
Refunds can only be made via bank transfer to a UK bank account.
Once requested in writing, refunds will be issued within seven working days.
