Michaela trained at The Royal Academy of Music in Musical Theatre, receiving her Post-Graduate Diploma in 2015. Before that she completed her BA(Hons) in Music at The University of Southampton and her ATCL (Distinction) in Musical Theatre Performance. Having developed her interest in performing arts from an early age, she is now an ambitious actor, singer and poet.

As a poet, Michaela has performed at several open mic events in Southampton and London. Her most recent spoken word performance was with Talawa Theatre Company, where she won a competition to perform a piece before TYPT:16’s show Hatch. She is currently expanding her collection of work.
